Delving into the shoulder (and elbow)

Lead by Professor Olivier Gagey and Nicole Pouilart to explore the functional anatomy of the shoulder (scapular muscles, rotator cuff, GH ligaments) by performing dissections using embalmed cadaver specimens.
Edwin Duijn will give demontrstaion of MSK ultrasound of the shoulder structures
Professors Pouliart and Gagey will each explore the functional anatomy of the shoulder (scapular muscles, rotator cuff, glenohumeral ligaments) in live dissection in small groups. Edwin Duijn will give a workshop on musculoskeletal ultrasound with direct connection to the structures. The planned fourth workshop is on anatomy of the elbow using prosected specimen. The day will begin and end with a lecture, starting with functional anatomy, finishing with the work-up/rehab for shoulder instability.
