8th ICSET Congress taking place from SEPTEMBER 22nd – SEPTEMBER 25th, 2026, in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. 




On behalf of the International Congress on Shoulder & Elbow Therapy (ICSET) 2026 Organising Committee & the Board of the International Confederation for Scientific Societies of Shoulder and Elbow Therapy (ICSSSET), it is our pleasure to invite you to attend & participate in the 8th ICSET Congress taking place from SEPTEMBER 22nd – SEPTEMBER 25th, 2026, in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. The 2026 ICSET Congress will be held in conjunction with the 16th International Congress on Shoulder & Elbow Surgery & will bring together experts in the field of shoulder & elbow rehabilitation to share & discuss scientific questions, achievements, issues & challenges relevant to our discipline. Therapy & surgery delegates from around the world will gather to exchange new ideas, make & renew friendships, network & collaborate on future endeavours & projects all with the aim of achieving optimal outcomes for our patients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Vancouver – where the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean meet the snow-capped peaks of local mountains & where world renowned cuisine is in abundance. We hope you will join us for us for this cutting-edge education event & perhaps, take a little extra time to enjoy the unique beaty of this part of Canada. Workshops – Call for Abstracts Submission Guidelines Important Dates
• Abstract Submission Deadline 30th June 2025
• Abstract Submission Address Please send Abstracts to karen.ginn@sydney.edu.au
• Notification of Outcome 30th September 2025

Workshop Format
• Workshops will be 1.0 to 1.5 hours in duration
• It is anticipated that Workshops will be largely practical sessions in which Workshop participants are, for example, engaged in exploring examination &/or treatment techniques, developing in depth clinical reasoning skills, critically evaluating exercise strategies etc.

Abstracts are invited that:
• explore innovative, evidence-based examination & treatment strategies for shoulder & elbow dysfunction
• incorporate the latest research findings to the clinical reasoning process in the assessment & management of shoulder & elbow dysfunction
• explore innovative ways in which the management of shoulder & elbow dysfunction can been adapted to meet the changing needs of clinical practice

Selection Criteria
• Submitted abstracts will undergo a blind review process conducted by international reviewers.
• Preference will be given to international Workshop teams i.e. consisting of presenters from different countries/regions.
• The following principles will be used to review Abstracts:
                    o The significance/importance of the topic addressed in the Workshop to an international audience of shoulder & elbow therapists.
                    o The opportunity provided by the Workshop for the development of practical hands-on & clinical reasoning skills.
                    o The contribution of the Workshop to the advancement of evidence-based management of shoulder & elbow dysfunction.
