From research to Your practice
Welcome in EUSSER "From research to Your practice" project! We would like to show You how to implement statistical data in your everyday practice. In our series we will be preparing different infographics which are presenting the data from JOSPT (Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy) or Shoulder & Elbow different scientific papers and make them easy to understand and present to your patients. Evidence based physiotherapy is within reach and will definitely develop Your practice! Solenn Gain
I’m a French shoulder specialist physiotherapist in a private hospital in Rennes. We create with orthopedic surgeon Dr Philippe COLLIN a “shoulder center” with other surgeons and physiotherapists. We do clinical research on shoulder thematics, especially rotator cuff repair, massive rotator cuff tear, reverse prosthesis, scapular dyskinesis, motion velocity. I’m very interested in diagnostic, shoulder kinematics disorders, rehabilitation for the patients with shoulder pain or dysfunction and also in rehabilitation after surgery. I’m the secretary of the French Society of Shoulder Physiotherapist (SFRE) and I co-organize a congress every year. I teach at IFMKR (physiotherapist school in Rennes) and for continuous training in France.
